Corporate

Team offsite transport from Bangalore

The offsite is the most common corporate booking out of Bangalore and the one where the vehicle choice changes the mood of the whole trip. Twenty engineers heading to a Coorg resort will spend five or six hours each way in that vehicle, and whether they arrive fresh or stiff depends on whether they were in recliners with standing headroom or on fixed bench seats. The other thing offsite planners routinely get wrong is resort access — a good number of Coorg and Chikmagalur estate properties sit at the end of a plantation track that a mini bus cannot use.

Questions we get asked

Will you invoice our company with GST?

Yes. Give us the company name, GSTIN and any purchase order reference at booking and the invoice is raised against them. We can issue before the trip if your process needs the invoice for approval, or after if it needs actuals.

Can a 17 seater reach our Coorg estate resort?

Often not. A good number of Coorg and Chikmagalur estate properties are at the end of a narrow plantation track with a tight final turn. Send us the resort name before you book and we will check it, because discovering this at the gate at four in the afternoon is a bad way to start an offsite.

Which vehicle for 25 people to Coorg?

Either a mini bus, or a 17 seater Urbania plus a 13 seater. The split usually wins: it costs a little more, but two vehicles reach resorts a mini bus cannot, and twenty-five people in recliners for six hours arrive in a better state than twenty-five on bench seats.

How do you handle pickups from Whitefield and Electronic City in one trip?

We would advise against it. Those two points are on opposite sides of the city and a single vehicle doing both adds well over an hour, most of it sat in traffic by whoever was picked up first. Two vehicles from two zones usually costs about the same per head and saves everyone the morning.

One last thing

The one question worth asking your team before booking: is anybody going to need to work on the drive? If yes, that pushes you to an Urbania — individual USB charging, reading lights and a seat you can open a laptop on. If nobody is working, a Tempo Traveller does the same job for meaningfully less per head.
