Tirupati Balaji yatra from Bangalore, for 6 to 33 people
Tirupati is the most-booked group trip out of Bangalore, and the one most often planned badly. The mistake is treating it as a 250 km drive. It is a 250 km drive followed by a darshan slot that may be six hours after you arrive, a 22 km ghat climb up to Tirumala with a checkpost at the bottom, and a walk from the vehicle park to the queue complex that an eighty-year-old will feel. Groups that book a slot first and a vehicle second have a good day. Groups that do it the other way round spend the afternoon waiting in a car park.

Itinerary options
One-day trip
Bangalore → Tirupati → Tirumala → Bangalore
03:30 departure from Bangalore. Breakfast near Chittoor around 07:00. Tirupati by 09:00, Alipiri checkpost, ghat climb to Tirumala. Darshan per your booked slot. Laddu counter, then descend by 16:00 and back in Bangalore by 21:00. A long day in one vehicle — the Urbania recliners earn their price on this itinerary.
Two-day trip
Overnight at Tirupati
Afternoon departure, overnight in Tirupati town, early darshan the next morning, Padmavathi temple at Tiruchanur on the way out, back in Bangalore by evening. Easier on elderly passengers and the version we recommend for groups with anyone over seventy.

The best cost per person of anything on this site. If the group is eight or more and the budget matters more than recliner seats, this is the answer.

The workhorse for temple groups and school excursions. Seventeen seats at the lowest per-head cost available anywhere in the fleet.
Urbania 13
The most-booked Urbania. Thirteen recliners, standing headroom and a real boot — the default choice for corporate offsites and wedding-party transport.
Questions we get asked
Can a 17 seater Tempo Traveller go up to Tirumala?
Yes. The Alipiri ghat road takes Tempo Travellers and Urbanias, and our drivers run it regularly. The 57 hairpins are wide enough; what slows a large vehicle down is the base checkpost queue on weekends and festival days.
Is the Andhra Pradesh permit included in the fare?
No. Tolls, parking and the AP interstate permit are charged at actuals on top of the vehicle fare. We show you the vehicle cost; the permit is a government charge and we pass it through without markup.
What is the cheapest way to take 15 people to Tirupati?
A 17 seater Tempo Traveller. At 15 people it works out lowest per head of anything in the fleet. If the group includes elderly passengers and the extra comfort matters more than the difference, the 17 seater Urbania has pushback recliners for the same seat count.
Should we book darshan before or after the vehicle?
Darshan first, always. The TTD slot fixes your whole day. Once you have the slot time we can work backwards to a departure time that gets you there without a six-hour wait.
One last thing
If your group is splitting across two vehicles, keep the elderly passengers together in the one that will park closest — tell us at booking and the drivers coordinate it between themselves. For groups above seventeen, a mini bus keeps everyone in one vehicle and one parking spot, which on a Tirumala day matters more than it sounds.
