Coorg, Chikmagalur or Kabini
Saturday morning departure rather than Friday night — easier on children and grandparents and it saves a calendar day. Vehicle on standby at the resort for the local sightseeing block. Return Monday. Confirm resort road access before booking.
Day trip
Mysore for a large family group
The reliable option when the group cannot commit to a weekend. Palace, zoo, an unhurried lunch and Srirangapatna on the return. Long enough to feel like an outing, short enough that nobody is exhausted.

Maximum seats without moving to a bus. Seventeen recliners for large corporate groups and wedding convoys that must stay together in one vehicle.

For groups above seventeen, where splitting into two Tempo Travellers costs more and separates the party.
Questions we get asked
Which vehicle for 15 family members including grandparents and small children?
We would usually put you in a 13 seater Urbania plus a smaller vehicle rather than a single 17 seater. The Urbania's low step and recliners are what the grandparents need, and its boot takes the family's luggage, which a 17 seater's overhead racks will not. The fare table above lets you compare per head.
Can you provide child seats?
Yes, on request for infants and toddlers. Give us the ages at booking rather than just the headcount, because a group of fifteen including two under-threes needs a different plan from fifteen adults.
How do we seat three generations sensibly?
Grandparents in the front row nearest the door, children in the middle where their parents can see them, and whoever is handling luggage at the rear. Decide it the night before and tell people — reunions where the seating gets worked out in the car park at six in the morning start badly.
Is one big vehicle better than two smaller ones for a reunion?
Two is often better, and not just for capacity. It lets you match vehicles to needs — the Urbania for the oldest and youngest, a Tempo Traveller for the rest and the bags — and it means a resort with a narrow approach road is still reachable. Two smaller vehicles also reach estate properties that a mini bus cannot.
One last thing
The reunion trips that go well are the ones where somebody in the family takes on being the coordinator and we have their number rather than five different numbers. Drivers cannot resolve a family debate about departure time, and on a reunion morning there is always one.
