Collecting out-of-town wedding guests in Bangalore
Guest arrivals are the most expensive part of wedding transport to get wrong, because a missed pickup happens to the people you least want inconvenienced. Bangalore makes it harder than most cities: the airport is 35 km north of the centre, arrivals cluster in the small hours, and the drive from BLR to a south Bangalore venue can take ninety minutes or three hours depending on when it happens. The practical questions are how many vehicles you actually need, how waiting is charged when a flight is late, and whether one vehicle can do two airport runs or needs to be two.

City-based bookings like this one are charged per calendar day plus driver allowance rather than per kilometre, because the vehicle is committed to you for the day whether it covers thirty kilometres or three hundred. Multiple runs from one vehicle
One Urbania can realistically do three airport runs in a day if arrivals are spaced three hours apart and the venue is not deep in south Bangalore. Closer than that and you need a second vehicle. We will tell you honestly which, based on your arrival list.
Wedding-week block
Vehicle on standby for three or four days
Larger weddings book a vehicle and driver for the whole week — arrivals, shopping, temple visits, functions and departures. Charged per calendar day plus bata. Works out cheaper than five separate bookings and the driver learns the venues.

The smallest vehicle on this site, and the entry point for group travel. Below six people a sedan is cheaper; at six the Ertiga is the only vehicle where nobody sits sideways.
Tempo Traveller 12
The best cost per person of anything on this site. If the group is eight or more and the budget matters more than recliner seats, this is the answer.
Urbania 13
The most-booked Urbania. Thirteen recliners, standing headroom and a real boot — the default choice for corporate offsites and wedding-party transport.
Urbania 17
Maximum seats without moving to a bus. Seventeen recliners for large corporate groups and wedding convoys that must stay together in one vehicle.
Questions we get asked
How is waiting charged if the flight is delayed?
Give us the flight number at booking and the driver is dispatched against the live arrival time, so a delayed flight usually costs nothing extra. Waiting is charged hourly only once the vehicle is on site and the guest has not emerged — the airport's own parking is charged at actuals.
Can one vehicle collect guests from three different hotels?
It can, but a three-hotel circuit in Bangalore traffic takes far longer than the distance suggests, and the first guests picked up sit in the vehicle for an hour. For scattered guests two smaller vehicles almost always work out better, and often cost about the same per head.
Which vehicle for 12 guests arriving with luggage?
The 13 seater Urbania. A 12 seater Tempo Traveller seats them but its overhead racks take soft bags only, and arriving guests have hard suitcases. This is the clearest case in the whole fleet for choosing boot space over seat count.
Do you charge extra for a 02:00 airport pickup?
A night charge applies for departures between 23:00 and 06:00, which covers most international arrivals into Bangalore. It is a fixed addition, not a multiplier, and we state it in the quote rather than at the end of the trip.
One last thing
A small thing that prevents most arrival-day problems: send us the arrival list as a single sheet with names, flight numbers, hotel and phone numbers, rather than over the course of a week in separate messages. We brief the drivers from that one sheet.
